The 10 Commandments Series: Sabbath Day

Read: Exodus 20:8
  
This commandment takes us back to Genesis where God worked for six days and rested on the seventh day. Accordingly, our Sabbath day is Sunday. 

The Sabbath day is a holy day for Christians as we rest with God. Though God rests He is on work 24x7. We go to church and hear the sermon and some go to Bible studies. It should not be like on Sabbath day we go to church and be very holy and on Monday onwards we don't even touch the Bible. We must keep ourselves each and every minute holy. 

Some people (including Christians) do not go to church because they are tired and want to take rest. I would say to them don't be lazy Christians. If you go to the church even with so much tiredness, you will get double blessings for our God.

Hence, let's encourage each other to be active Christians. AMEN
