The 10 Commandments Series: Your Neighbors Read: Exodus 20:16-17 Today we are going to read about our last two commandments. Which are about “ How we should live with the people in this world ” The first one is " Do not bear false witness against your neighbour " . This commandment usually can be seen in legal courts. If we are in a court and we are the witness and we are supposed to say the truth what had really happened, but usually people will say the truth but some people do not say the truth but instead they lie. The reason may be bribing, blackmailing etc., but in daily life, no one is bribing or blackmailing us, but then why do we lie?? Might be because of one’s weakness or benefit. Sometimes due to personal weakness is ok, but if we lie for worldly benefits it’s a sin.
